Hoboken is a 1.2 square mile town. the path train to NYC is downtown as well as a ferry to manhattan....uptown their is also a ferry. Are you looking to buy or rent? If rent you can find properties at either end of town...if buying it depends on price range and stye of living. the doorman condo bldgs are uptown and have a shuttle to the path if that is your preferred method of transportation...it will also depend if you require parking.....most of the buildings with parking are uptown or downtown but when you consider east or west the majority in downtown and midtown are west of willow. As in every town it depends exactly what you are looking for. The real estate is from multi-family dwellings that many have successfully purchased as investments to high end luxury condominiums.
