I suggest that you check Trulia.com for rent section. Also, Craigslist for Sunnyvale rentals. Even if you donâ€™t find what you want you will get an idea what the asking price is for a rental such as you describe. Beware of below market rents! There are often scams. If an offer looks suspicious, it often is.
Also, do an internet search for property managers in the area in which you are interested. Call a few and find out what they have available.... more
You're to be lauded for your ethical concerns. I don't personally see any particular reason this would need to be disclosed as long as you qualify to pay the rent. If the property owners lease application requires you to list your financial obligations (student loan,s credit cards, car payments etc, then you could list it, but that strikes me as a fairly invasive lease application.... more
Personally, I do not know any Realtors who handle rentals. I hope one here on Trulia will respond to help you, however, the MLS has very few rentals. Trulia has a new and abundant rental section that you can browse and Craigslist is also a good resource for rentals as well.... more
