If I wanted to move in a house during the first week of February, when should I start looking for a house?

Put an offer in on home in French Valley (Winchester), most sites show the schools nearby, but the paperwork says its zoned for Hemet.
The LISTING on your house should have shown the three schools associated.
You should also ask your Realtor to verfiy if it is that important to you.

Good luck and may God bless
