Pine Gardens is conveniently located between downtown Savannah and the Islands - Whitemarsh, Talahi, Wilmington and Tybee. The neighborhood was mostly built in the 1940's and early 50's. Many of the homes are considered "starter" or "investment" homes because of the smaller size and number of bedrooms. Several of the homes in that area have been updated and/or remodelled.
