How long do I have to wait after a Deed in Lieu of foreclosure to get a new mortgage? Our property was transferred back to the bank in 11/ 10.
They usually say two years for DIL but the only way to know for sure is ask a lender to pull your credit scores and check with an underwriter.

Speaking as a NY Realtor, I can tell you that in lower NY, there is very little an agent does at a closing. Your attorney will be doing all the work.
