Millburn/Short Hills and Mountain Lakes are among the best school districts hands down. Also extremely good are Summit, Westfield, Livingston, and Ridgewood.

I wouldn't pay more than 200/230,000 and look at real estate taxes, they have their influence on the sale price. The lower they are the more is the saving in the long term.
