I have listings and buyers from my FB and Twitter accounts. I also have buyers from Trulia and ActiveRain which means you should do them all.

Summit County allows us to appeal our accessments once a year. A lot of folks won on an appeal of the last raise, due to the current market. Other factors involved are why was it 20% lower? Was it a foreclosure, was it a short sale, was it a distressed property, etc. I would need specifics to answer further. Feel free to call or email me anytime. Before, they could not live in Coventry. Maybe you were near Coventry Crossing which is in Akron. The city annexed parts of Coventry in 2000 so they could build newer homes for employee's of Akron. Hope this helps.

IS COVENTRY PART OF AKRON????????

Answer by akronohiohomes: Hi Cindy, Coventry is not part of Akron. A referral fee could be worked out and as he does not know the area, he probably would be releived not to do the travel and help in an area he does not know. I just found my own daughter a brand new home in Avon Lake and the reason she chose that area was the schools, kids neighborhood, great city service and recreation and a great price. You may search for homes on my website in all those areas and more. You may want to have a buyers agent represent you ( it's no cost to you) to assist you in making an offer, checking the neighborhood comps, etc. You may use our website, with no obligation, to search for homes in all of NE Ohio that come directly from the MLS. Good luck, B.

is this home still for sale?

Answer by akronohiohomes: Sorry Courtney, that home went pending on 5-26-2009. It was a HUD repo that was bid online. If you would like to see similar homes for sale, just email me or visit my website. Thanks for the question and good luck!

A bank would be more aggressive it seems. You should have a Realtor familiar with rehabs go with you and make an estimate for an offer. Meanwhile, due to the inventory of homes, many owners are willing to sign a lease/purchase agreement for 1-2 years. You should explore that option. You may look it up on the Summit County auditors page and it will say on the tax info which school district it is in. We do have open enrollment in Summit County, a call to the local school district may help in answering that last question. I am sure you have seen many Howard Hanna signs around town. We are the largest real estate company in NE Ohio with over 2,100 Realtors. Networking and the internet sell homes and we sold the most of any other Broker in Ohio, by far. In fact, we are number 4 in the whole USA! Check out my website for details. I also list my homes on over 20 specialized real estate sites for world wide exposure. If you emailed me your address, I could send you all the info on homes sold and for sale within a mile of you. Good luck, Guy.

What other info do we have on this auction house?

Be cautious of any home on Trulia without an address. Realty Trak is a paid service and they want you try them out by posting here. Their info is usually old and outdated. I can find all the foreclosures and short sales on the MLS for you.

Is this house still on the market? It is bank owned and was pending twice. I would guess there are problems with the inspection and they are debating repairs or a lower price. It is assessed by the county at $114,000 and they were asking $ 58,900.

I was wondering if this house has a basement?

Answer by akronohiohomes: No, it does not have a basement, but it is at half price from 2007.
