What buyer is going to agree to pay their Agent another .5% because they agreed to a set fee upfront?  Give me a break.&#13;

I assume you wouldn't want to do that either?  If that's the case then leave the Agreement as is.  If the property YOU like is paying less of a commision, you don't have to worry.  At the same time, if YOU decide on a property that's paying a higher commission, don't penalize your Agent.  &#13;

Wouldn't that Agent look stupid if he/she was pushing a certain property over another because of the compensation?  Don't you think you'd see right through that?  &#13;

You are buying the home not the Agent.
