Hi Alex -

I'm not sure how your title paperwork was organized, but the refinance is a separate issue from renaming ownership. In order to rename, you probably filed a quit claim deed. If that is the case (and if you are the sole owner of your LLC), then you do qualify for 1 of 8 exemptions for the NV state transfer tax. I would call the title company you used for the refi / quit claim, and tell them about the situation. They will probably put you in touch with the Clark County Recorder's Office to clear the issue. Good luck!
