Hi Eric -
Model home and prefab mean two different things. Model home is a home built for buyers to walk through. In many cases, but not always, it will have upgrades. So many people consider the fact that it is a model home to be a selling point.
Model homes can be stick built OR modular/prefab. In this particular case, the home is a modluar/prefab.

Hi Eric,

Model home basically means that a developer/builder has built an example of what the other homes will look like. It helps buyers to visualize what the homes will look like versus just seeing the plans on paper.

Eric, if you are in the market to purchase a home in NH, I'd be happy to put you in the hands on an experienced Realtor. Let me know if you're interested. If you're planning to buy in Southern Maine, I'd love to assist you.
