Hi Linda,

If Trulia has the listing address in our database you should be able to type in the full property address and find the result you're looking for. If you don't have the address but have the MLS number you can perform a search in the city and state or zip where the listing is located. Once your search results load you can then type the MLS number into the Keyword filter shown towards the bottom left of the page.

Hi Linda, is a website catered specifically to Oregon and connected with 2 mls feeds that receive daily downloads for the most timely data. I have visited possibly every real estate web search site that has clout and mashed-up several search techniques into where you will find on the home page an MLS number search, list of popular cities by search and listing count, by county, and a robust city search page using Google maps. You will also find on the search page the ability to search by city AND street name. Our use of Google maps makes the presentation very useful so you can see what is where. You can also toggle between cities, price, bedroom, living area, in a heart beat, and save your searches, and receive autoemails on new listing information direct to your email application. I strongly encourage you to visit as it is specific to the Oregon markets and I promise you won't be dissappointed. Our traffic has climbed big time! I am also here to help when you have specific questions. The problem with Roost and others is (primarily) they populate their maps with too many icons such that you are often waiting for the information, and when you receive's overload. I wonder if these web site curators conduct easeability testing. You'll find is designed for easeability with the consumer in mind. Please keep in mind that because of RMLS policy we are not allowed to display the property address, although we receive the MLS address for mapping purposes. However, in some MLS jurisdictions (like Southern Oregon SOMLS) we are allowed to display the address. This has been an issue for major web plays in that the MLS data is often defined differently, under different policies, and requires additional engineering to make right! Ideally, one day in a perfect world (?), this data will be standardized to make the system easier for display curators and the consumers eyeballs. Regards, 541-912-1405

If you mean, how do I use Trulia to look up properties listed in the local MLS, you may not find them. Trulia relies on feeds from brokers and other service providers to stock their 'inventory' and does not have a direct feed from the MLS. You can always use to get basic information for Portland properties, or use a local Realtor search site to find a property. is one example, there are many others. is another site that makes MLS search easy in the Portland area.
