Lori, Other/Just Looking in Shaffer

I am looking to rent a home in Naples for $1,100 or less that allows pets.

Asked by Lori, Shaffer Sun Feb 10, 2008

Does anyone know of anything? I would like Golden Gate Estates or in a gated community in the North Naples or East Bonita area.

Hi Lori, I know you are interested in renting. In case you were not aware, you can get no money down financing for a single family home in certain eligible towns. If you are interested, I would be happy to see if I can get you pre-approved for financing. Typically, as long as you have at least a 620 middle credit score (500 if putting money down) you can have a good chance at getting approved. I just wanted to put it out there in case you wanted to take advantage of the low rates and low home prices right now. Once we see if you are eligible, I would put together a conservative good faith estimate based on a loan amount that you qualify for. You can contact me through my link below or through my profile. I would be happy to help provide the information that will help you to decide if this is the right choice for you at this time.

Good Luck! - Mike

The question will probably be: how many pets? If you have more than 3 dogs and are looking in Collier County you might want to check to see what is or is not allowed. I know some neighborhoods allow only the actual owner to have a pet, not a tenant. You might be surprised at what you may be able to purchase for that monthly amount of rent. Check out your options before you sign anything.

Hi Lori

With the availability of short sales and foreclosures you should have no problems finding a rental. What is most important is the time frame you are looking for, size (how many bedrooms and baths) in season out of season and how long. Whether you want a house or condo. I know I gave you more questions than answers but that is what will help sort you out exactly what is available. Good luck
