Sometimes they're one and the same (that is, a seller may decide that they need to do some sprucing up, for example, and decide to EITHER take it off the market OR simply ask that no showings be scheduled for a time period). The result is the same -- prospective buyers aren't able to see the property.

Also, some sellers decide to take it off the maket for a time following an extended time for the property having been on the market -- in an effort to make the listing appear "fresh" once it goes back on the market.

Only the seller and the listing agent know the reason in this particular instance.

I hope my answer is helpful. Please don't hesitate to contact me at (610) 324-5240 with any other questions. It would be my pleasure to assist you in any way that I can.

Enjoy your day!

Warmly,
Judy

What's the difference between taking it off the market and stopping showings on the property?

Hi Brendan. As Carol indicated this home is temporarily off the market. What a great house -- 4 BRs and 2 Bath on nearly half an acre!

There are other homes in the area that fit this general criteria. If you'd like, I would be happy to forward those to you.....just shoot me an email at judy@JudysFineHomes.com.

Also, wanted to make you aware that I offer FREE Special Reports for Buyers (and Sellers too:) ... just visit my website at http://www.JudysFineHomes.com/meet/reports.htm and you'll see all my free reports. I created them for buyers like you -- free for the asking...no cost or obligation. Be sure to check it out!

Finally, if you're a first-time buyer, I wanted to let you know about a FREE seminar that's coming up -- I'm sponsoring it in my office in Collegeville (about 10-15 minutes from the home you asked about) on Feb. 19th @ 7 PM. You can learn more about it at: http://www.JudysFineHomes.com/meet/events.htm. You'll walk away with useful information, a copy of your credit report, a multi-page homebuyer guide.....and when you register for the seminar, you'll automatically be entered for a chance to win a Dream Vacation for 2! To register just call me at 610.324.5240.

Finally, if you're not currently working with an agent, I'd appreciate the opportunity to earn your business. To learn more about me, visit http://www.JudysFineHomes.com/meet/index.htm.

Good luck in your home search! I'm sure this is a VERY exciting time in your life!!:)

Warmly,
Judy

Hi, Brendan

This home is temporarily off the market. If you have some interest let me know and I will send you an alert when it is back on.

There are also some other things available in Plymouth Valley. If you are not working with a buyer agent, let's talk.
