The Florida market was hit hard overall.
But if you look at the statistics, the west central and south west coast remain the strongest.
I am investing heavily now that those prices are most likely at their lowest.
The coast area west of the Ft. Meyers airport and coast areas west of Tampa airport

I think the coast areas west of Tampa will come back the fastest and strongest. Those areas experienced (coastal) less depreciation, and seem to have continued constant sales. (except for some speculative redev spots)

I would love to welcome you to the Gulf Coast, and the beautiful sugar white beaches of the Emerald Coast!! I moved here from PA, and I love it! If you have an interest in considering various locations, please let me know and I can get you a relocation packet--or look up Destin, Florida on the interenet!! If I can be of assistance to you, please let me know.

Is it me, or what? By the post I can't figure out what Rose is actually looking FOR. Does Trulia not post the question in it's entirety or is it the people that don't post enough info?

Hi Rose

What are you looking for? There are thousands of options and locations all over Florida. Do you want to still have seasons like NY or are you like me and don't want to be cold in the winter. Naples, Bonita and Ft Myers may be something you would like to consider. If you are looking for information beyond this email me and I will give you any information I have to get you in the right direction before you commit to buying visit the areas and see if it is the location and lifestyle you are looking for. Take your time and make a good choice. I hope this will help you.

Hi Rose,

The condo market is even more saturated than the single family home market here in Florida so there are some really great deals out there. Of course, you need to consider the association dues and how that will play a part inyour overall finances. I am a licensed Realtor and Residential Real Estate Specialist in Central Florida and would be happy to assist you by researching properties in particular areas of interest and analyze their value vs price to help you determine your best options.
