I just looked and the "repocaravan" site is underwhelming. You might want to look at the data on, which is not free, but has extensive information both about REO and properties that are in distress but not yet bank-owned.

There are over 225 homes under $200,000 for sale in the Palm Springs/Cathedral City neighborhoods. Not all are REO/Bank Owned properties, so I wouldn't limit yourself to just foreclosures. Although you can get a great deal on a repo, you can also get good deals on privately owned resales too. We help buyers with both! Check out for information on buying REOs. There are currently only 6 bank owned properties for sale in Palm Springs under $150,000. 37 total in Palm Springs. Great time to buy, I have noticed more buyers in the last couple of weeks making serious offers. I also have some great condos strating at $179,900 that are completely remodeled, see my website and the Catalina Grove page.

The Population here has grown 59 % in the past 15 years, to our current approx. 410,974. That growth rate tops those for Riverside County, California and the Nation. Experts say the valley’s population is expected to double in the next 25 years to about 800,000. By 2066, it should surpass 1.1 million.

Currently there is only one SFR in Palm Springs under $150,000, however there are over 160 condos in that price range starting at $85,000.

You can find lots of condo or townhouse with 1 or 2 bedrooms and 1 bath 550 to 600 sq. ft, at the price range starting at $147,000. For bank own or foreclosure homes there are some 2 to 3 bedrooms homes 1000 to 1500 sq. ft for around $155,000 and up. has lot of forelclosure, short sale and bank own properties - You have to register to see the detail information of each home.

There are a lot of opportunites right now in the Desert. (I am a local Northern CA Realtor but I own investment property in Palm Desert. ) If you're looking for a resource for lenders sites that list their REO listings on line, try the link below.
