sq.ft., no of rooms, condition of home, upgrades, basement amenities, garage, lot size etc. into consideration and compare to recent sales to give you an app. market value of your property.
Most important though is why are you interested in the value of your home?
Do you just want to know in today's market? Do you want to refinance possibly? Are you thinking about selling your property?
When selling..... remember the value of a home for sale is what a ready and willing and a financially sound
buyer is ready and willing to pay...... So no one value determination is 100 % correct, since they are based on comparable homes, and as you know no one house is exactly the same as another!
