After Closing procedure

Hi ,
after closing does the deed gets recorded with the county recorders office? how long does that take in cook county to show on the internet? then does the homeowner get the deed back in the mail.Thank you for your helpful answers.

Hi Rahul,

Yes, the deed will be recorded in the Cook County Recorder of Deeds Office and you will receive an original copy of the recorded deed to your mailing address.

I don't know how often the county updates its online records; you can certainly call them and ask.
