I would reccomend using Juanita Fisher from Sotheby's. She helped me purchase my home in Carlson Park of Culver City. Give her a ring and ask her a couple of questions, I'm sure you'll be pleasantly surprised of her knowledge in this neighborhood as we scoured the city for that perfect home.
Another suggestion is to select an agent who actually lives in Culver City. There are a handful of good agents out there who, like myself, have lived in Culver City for 10 years and counting. Not only will these agents know the history of the area, but will also be familiar with city services, the school district, neighborhood associations, business developments and more.
Happy house hunting!

There are listings of agents here on Trulia that work in the West Los Angeles and Culver City area. Why not take a look at their profiles and call a couple of them? If the agents are experienced and professional and work with buyers that's a plus. It's also helpful to get references from them.
Good to see you are in the real estate market. It is a good time to buy. I always recommend buyers do their own research as well as consulting with a experienced agent before purchasing the property.
I have worked with numerous buyers in the Culver City area. The key is to stay on top of the market because properties are moving quickly.
Let me know if I can be of any assistance.
