The Academic Performance Index rates school districts on a scale of 0-1500. The current state average is 1180.
** Since Tulsa Public Schools is comprised of many districts, I caution judging the entire district based on this API.

Best of luck in your search,
For 'private' schools, the best school in Tulsa by far is Holland Hall, but its very pricey.
However, bear in mind that many of these schools are very one dimensional, so consider for your kids, the art, music athletic programs that are available, and giving them a well rounded education. Also note that many kids don't do well in a hypercompetitive environment, the atmosphere can be stifling for some very bright, creative kids. So, if you are able to narrow down to a few schools, talk to the parents and the kids going to the schools, I know it's a lot of work. GreatSchools.net previously recommended by Susie has parent reviews of schools, an excellent resource.
