godaddy.com.....have had really good luck with them. also, once you become a customer, they will send you many email coupons.

definitely not fly by night!!

feel free to contact me for additional questions or details. I have no vested interest in go daddy. We transfered some domains to them and neglected to finish the process. GoDaddy called us and refunded our $$ for the time period, which spoke highly of their integrity, too. It has always been easy to get quick responses via phone or email from tech or customer service support.

As in registering domain names? If so then they usually run different promotions at different times, but the most prevalent ones that are quite cheap include (and I've used several of these):

1) http://www.godaddy.com
2) domains.yahoo.com
3) http://www.netfirms.com
4) http://www.1and1.com

I hope this was the question you were asking...if not, feel free to clarify with me and I'll try to help with some more info!

Right in our own backyard, Robert, GoDaddy is reasonable.

I have used GoDaddy, as well, but prefer ValueWeb and have all my domains hosted there (My main real estate website is with Top Producer, though) Domains with ValueWeb are around $14 for 2 years and you get 2 free web pages with each domain - no monthly charge - hosting starts at $9.95/month if you want more than a 2 pg template-based site. Customer service has been very good. I purchased my first domain with them about 5 years ago.

Exactly! I like GoDaddy.com the best purely for their PHENOMENAL customer service and provide info on nearly ANY issue. You can have a website fired up within a couple of hours of purchasing the domain (they say 24 hours, but it is usually less). They will walk you through any forwarding of domains or hosting.

And the best reason I love them is because their free hosting is such non-invasive ad space ... no pop-ads. Great for property listing urls / websites.

I uses godaddy.com but one of my friend recently used hostpapa.com, she's pretty happy with it so far.
