Hi,

In my market area, inspectors charge by the square footage and the style of the home. And there are many kinds of inspections. A General Inspection includes: electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, structural, mechanical. Additional services that some inspectors can provide would be radon, mold, pest and soil and water quality tests if there is well water. A general inspection on an average sized home in my market would cost around $300-$400 and the specialty inspections added on can cost any where from $75-$150 each. If you are interested in any of the “add-on” inspections, research what qualifications are necessary in your state and be sure to choose in inspector who meets that criteria.

I hope this helps!

Similar and comparable to East Coast rates for the same.

Two main inspections:
Property Inspection - $250-$300
Termite Inspection - $150
The property inspection may raise some red flags which may warrant a further specific inspection (plumber, electrician, HVAC)
