Chris, Both Buyer and Seller in Houston, TX

I need a good price on an FSBO In the Webster, TX area. How do I find it?

Asked by Chris, Houston, TX Tue Apr 7, 2009

I am stuck with a house in Missouri that has been on the market for a year, not selling. I cannot get a new loan until it does. I prefer to buy a house with a little land (1ac ), 2bd minimum.

GREAT QUESTION, perhaps search in their local newspaper. Realtors would search homes available via MLS have your considered a lease purchase have an agent work with you?

Hey Chris,

http://www.zillow.com can give you an estimate, but it isn't the most accurate. You can also search http://www.har.com for homes listed in your nieghborhood and just do your own comparable analysis. If you need help marketing your home I would love to help and it is free. I just want to prequalify your buyers. just give me a call at 832-338-4561 and mention my online commercials.

Chris FSBO means for sale by owner. I point that out only because your question doesn't make sense to me. Why do you think a FSBO is going to be more helpful to your situation? There are very few serious sellers braving today's market alone - most will have an agent. Maybe you are looking for seller financing or a rent to own agreement? I am just confused. In any case, while the efficient will not be as methodical or quick, if there is a reason you need to target buying from someone who is selling themselves, then a buyers agent can do this for you.
