Areas to pursue / avoid in Loveland

Asked by B. Wiggins, South Gate, CA Wed May 16, 2007

We're looking to relocate to the Loveland area in the coming months. We have three small children (11, 8, and 1) and we're looking for good schools and decent neighborhoods in a moderate price range. Any areas you would advise us to check out or avoid altogether? Thanks for your help!

Loveland is a great community for families with young children. It has that small town and foothills atmosphere and is very safe. The Thompson School district is the desirable district to be in and the west side near the foothills will have many hike and bike trails. The zip codes are divided north and south of hwy 34. 80538 is to the north and 80537 is to the south. You have picked a very good time to move because they will soon announce that NASA has choosen Loveland as a new energy research center and this will have a very good long range impact on housing values in the area. Let me know if my wife or I can help in any way...

First I need to know if it is Loveland, Ohio that you are talking about? I know the Loveland (Ohio that is) area very well so I am assuming you are speaking of Loveland in a different state other than Ohio. Let me know.

I know you'll be shocked SHOCKED to hear this but.......You'd be wise to employ the services of a LOCAL REAL ESTATE PROFESSIONAL, and not a messageboard in cyberspace.

Careful where you get your infomation, just sayin.

Also what you are asking

As an agent, resident and observer of the Loveland community, I tend to favor the east side of town. Centerra is an area with plenty to do, close to http://www.nocoHUB.com and has easy access the I-25. High Plains Village is a great community with Centerra and offers condos, townhomes, cottages and larger single family homes. If you need additional information, please give me a call. I'm not familiar with the area but you should spend a few moments looking at ratings and reviews of schools in this area... the ratings/reviews come from parents. I've put a link to greatschools.net, where you can find this info. you actually have to click on a school name to see the rating.
