Have you been making your payments? If it was in foreclusre you would receive tons of mail and notices. Best thing to do is call your lender and ask them what is going on with your home.

Sue your lender and move back in your home. You should not take a foreclosure lying down. Fight Back with attorney's who win. It is very affordable and you WILL NOT lose your home.

George, I do not know anything about your home, but, you should have received endless notifications that you were in trouble including one posted on the door or window to the home. I suggest you contact a local title company, they can tell you if anything has been filed. foreclosure does not happen overnight. Have you made your payments? Are they current? If you are living in this home, it seems strange to me that you do not know the status. IF you are not there, check with whoever pays the billing/mortgage payments on your home. I had mine paid by a real estate management company when I was overseas in the military. They never forwarded the notices to me and it was foreclosed. I was able to fix my credit but by the time I figured out the problem, the house was gone. It was a pain in the neck. Dave Atherton
