Home Buying in Palm Bay>Question Details

Kate, Home Buyer in Florida

Looking for advice from Realtors familiar with Palm Bay, FL area!

Asked by Kate, Florida Wed Sep 24, 2008

I am currently looking for a home to buy in the Palm Bay area. In the 5 years we've lived here, we've lived in the NW section (specifically in the Lockmar School District). I'm wondering if anyone can give me some opinions on what the other sections of the City are like to live in. We would prefer to stay in the Lockmar district because our daughter just started Kindergarten in it; however, we know that other areas may offer more bang for the buck - larger houses at lower prices. I would just like general ideas of each quadrant, within what you are allowed to tell me. Thanks!!

Well since you live right up the street from my office (Century 21 Camelot) right on the corner of Emerson and Malabar you should come in and let me show you the homes and areas which are available right now. There are amazing deals out there and you really can't go wrong right now! Hope to see you soon.

Hi Kate, I see the great last answer and i is correct. But if you would like to stay in the Lockmar School District, there are a couple of good buys in the areas that Lockmar Services. It would be my pleasure to speak with you, and show you what is available on the multiple listing service and show you what is avaiable. Yes some areas still have well water and septic, Others have city water and sewer avialable if you hook up or just septic at this time. May I suggest we speak as to help you find the home you need at the price you can afford. There are a coupleof excellent programs to choose from to help you and your family.

Hello Kate-

There are good deals in each region of the city. It really depends on what you are looking for in a house. Do you require city water, or is well/ septic OK? They are coming through many areas and putting in city water, but it will take some time. The south west & some of the south eastern areas of the city are definitely more scarcely developed, but most of the houses are newer homes. There are definitely deals to be had in each area. I would love the opportunity to show you some homes. Feel free to call me at 987.3321 or email me at lauren_merrell@bellsouth.net
