What are the chances of finding a foreclosed home in Columbia, and where should I look? I'm not an investor.

Your best bet is to work with Trisha, she's local and knows the area better than anyone else does and you really need a Reator to help you with the ins and outs of foreclosures.

I would try two avenues -first, you can search sites such as bidselect.com for foreclosed homes in the Columbia, MO area.

Second, I would contact a local Realtor, one that serves the Columbia market. Realtors will have access to foreclosed homes that are listed with thier multi list. They will also know of any bank foreclosures that may be in the area but not necessarily listed.

Additionally, a Reator can assist you in finding those homes that meet your criteria but are not forsclosures. Columbia may have homes that would be a good deal to you that are being sold by an owner occupant.

Happy House Hunting!
