Pegbert, Other/Just Looking in Greenville, NC

Sandhills, NC..... Pinehurst, Seven Lakes, Whispering Pines

Asked by Pegbert, Greenville, NC Tue Apr 29, 2008

We are a middle-aged couple with no kids, and are thinking of relocating to the Sandhills sometime in the future. Everything in that area looks great, so rather than ask "Where is a good place to live?", I'd like to ask the opposite...... if our biggest deal-breaker would be a swingset in the next yard, what areas/subdivisions/developments should we AVOID? Our ideal home would be one where we could walk our dogs, sit out on our patio, perhaps watch the golfers, and enjoy the sounds of nature. So we'd like to avoid communities that are heavily geared toward growing families with young children. Thank you for any suggestions!
