Yes there are regulations for air space. ..The FAA will control air space by an airport. Cities have height restrictions on buildings which take into account both the desires of the community as well as such items as how the cities fire engine ladders will reach. This gets translated into zoning. In addition there may be CCRs that come into play in certain areas such as Skyline. There are also situation where specific lots have restrictions for heights or view corridors.

So yes there are restrictions but they vary greatly. If we can be of more help, please call our office at 360.293.4511 or email islandliving@coldwellbanker.com.

The height limit for both the City of Anacortes and Skagit County is 35'. However, certain neighborhoods do have view corridors and further "air space" restrictions. It just depends on the neighborhood.
