Until the property is foreclosed and ownership passes to the new owner, your rental/lease agreement is still between you and the (in default) owner. He can still collect rent from you just as he can evict you for non-payment of rent. If you had paid a security deposit to this owner, do pay attention to how the owner's situation is progressing. You may have to withhold part of your last payment to him to recover your security deposit or have it escrowed at closing just in case.
