Hi Manisha:

San Francisco North Bay has great Tennis Coachings, both for adults and for juniors. In Novato, our San Marin High School Girls Tennis Team is up in the ranks in North CAL and California.

Here are the links to Tennis facilities in the North Bay

Weather in the NorthBay is mild and pleasant all year long, great for tennis. Gorgeous surroundings around the tennis courts and clean air are huge pluses when you play tennis or just do any outdoors activities.

In Marin County, Novato being the northmost town, is the least expensive place and most sunny place to live.

Housing is less expensive in Sonoma county and if you don't need to go into the city too often, is another great choice.

We are also close to Napa, where there are quite a few private, famous tennis instructors around.

All depends on the level of tennis you are interested in. Will you be coaching or learning?

Atlanta is home to several tennis professionals. Robby Ginepri, for example, grew up in Marietta (an Atlanta suburb) and trained at one of the local tennis clubs with Jerry Baskin. The two of them now own Olde Towne Athletic Club in Marietta.

What is your definition of "affordable". The Atlanta metro area offers homes in all price ranges and styles.

Hello Manisha,

I recommend my city, Austin, Texas. We have a great climate, great facilities, and great people. As an avid player, I find that Austin provides year around opportunities with a large community of players. There are a few academies in the area for various ages of player from juniors to adults. Look into the Capital Area Tennis Association for more information on the local tennis scene. http://(www.austintennis.org)

Real estate is still affordable here compared to many other locations with similar climate and economic opportunities. Come and visit us here in Austin, I think that you will like it here.

I have had huge tennis experiences in the south. Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas. We have warm weather longer which results in more tennis during the year without having to pay indoor fees. We do have indoor tennis as well. I have played as cold as 32 degrees and hot enought that my shins were feeling burned from the heat off of the courts!!! I am crazy about tennis!

In my humble opinion - the Atlanta area is not only chock full of golf pro's but also tennis. I happen to know one who trained internationally and he lives right here in Forsyth County!
