South Carolina's property tax system is changing. First it is different for owner occupied and rental. The simple answer is you will pay about $0.92 per $100 of home value.

So property tax in SC is less then Ca. ??? I know when I was looking @ Hilton Head property tax was based on distance from city hall ?????
