I am an aerial photographer with my own company in the San Diego area. I believe in the utility of what I'm doing, however, the concept of elevated imaging is catching on very, very slowly here... Reading one of the responses here is that it sounds expensive - actually no. Compare a one time startup cost of having the equipment to do this type of photography against the recurring cost of general aviation and it's truly cost effective - with detail you'd never get with an airplane or satellite photo. and see our website. The set up time is pretty quick; drive to the location, hook up the laptop and camera equip, raise the mast and your done. A typical job - all 4 sides of a property are taken in about 45 minutes from arrival time.
