1. Less than 18 inches clearance under the home if it is not on a slab.
2. Termite or dry rot infestations on the main structure and attached garage.
3. Lack of heating or cooling.
4. Lack of window screens, or window locks.
5 Lack of hurricane ties under the home if it is a manufactured home.
These days, most homes will qualify for FHA or VA, they are not nearly as picky as they used to be! Ask your lender what to look for in your particular area when chosing homes to see for your FHA or VA loan- they will be much more familiar with the common obstacles to these types of financing in your area.
