and whats wrong with this picture?"
I'm so sorry my post wasn't as helpful as yours. Yours are always so helpful. About 12% of them at last count with no best answers. BTW, you might want to note that my comment on Austin traffic was done with a ;-). However, our party was traveling in two cars containing 5 other Austin residents that have lived there for over 10 years and the comment was, 'and people think Austin traffic is bad. This town is a (expletive deleted) joke."
It was also fun to see the police trap set up for those that were using the break down lane for passing just west of the bridge approach. They were waving them off onto the frontage road and ticketing them just before the exit they would have reached that had the gas station and restroom that they probably were in urgent need of after averaging about 5mph for over an hour. Nice move. You could tell that this was done regularly by the tire wear on the grassy median between the break down lane and the frontage road.
"So as I stated before, dont like it here, stay in Austin!"
No I didn't like it there, and if you had good reading comprehension you would have realized that was not our destination. It was just an obstacle to get through to get to one of the more worthwhile tourist cities in Louisiana. Sometimes you have to take the bitter with the sweet.
Also, I AM the self proclaimed king of thread hijacking. Now along with Dunes, I'm sure I can count on your approval for that title as well.
Lets see what the people of austin think about their wonderful traffic!
So as I stated before, dont like it here, stay in Austin!
Loop wont work in Baton Rouge.
Feds / State need to rebuild and 8 lane the I10 thru the Mississippi River bridge
Traffic is bottlenecked because interstate dumps downtown state government and LSU employees/ students traffic in the same area where motorist need to exit to the River bridge
Loop cant fix that
