If you have any doubt, you should get your own inspection done with the inspectors that you choose.
One advantage of having your own inspection is that you actually get to be there (make sure you and your realtor are both there), watch the inspector going through the house and listen to his verbal report, ask questions and hear what he has to say about the inspection - some issues might be bigger and others might be customary for the type/age of house you are getting.
The inspector will be able to tell you if there is active termite and if any treatment has been done. Provide him with the report done by the seller to get his opinion.
This is a few hundred dollars well spent for a very big purchase.
