I would recommend in the future contacting a buyers agent instead....did you go the deal alone? I am curious to know the feedback on your deal after the fact. Congratulations.....look forward to hearing from you.
The reason you are having trouble is the home is REO. That is to say that it is real estate owned by a bank. Those agents do make it difficult for whatever reason. Should you want to use a buyer's agent feel free to give me a call. I'd be happy to work with you. For further info email me at email@example.com. Though I should warn you that at the listed price it will need much work.
The easiest and smartest way is to use a buyers agent. The seller pays the commission so you dont pay to have an agent represent you. That home looks awesome from the pictures. If you haven't been inside, give me a call or email me and I would be happy to get you inside to see it.
get your self a buyers agent to represent YOU, don't worry about the listing agent who is representing the seller, and protecting the sellers interests, find someone to protect YOUR interests. I do a lot in that area and you do not want to go in without having someone looking out for YOU.
