Hi Fran,

You received some good answers below. I want to confirm that Trulia does not include FSBO listings within our search results at this time, however you can blog about your home on Trulia Blogs. Blogging on Trulia is extremely easy and it's a snap to format your text just ask you like and include photos or even YouTube videos. Just access the link below and let us know if you have any questions.

If, on the other hand, you are working with a broker or an agent, please direct them to http://www.trulia.com/submit_listings/ to submit your listing information to us.

Best Wishes,

Please make sure you price your home right. The other agents have mentioned some good sites where you can post your home for sale. Take good pictures of the home and write a great description. If you are looking to list with an agent , I will be glad to refer you to an agent in your area.

There are many sites that you can use: Craig's List, Fizber.com, FSBO.com, Forsalebyowner.com, to name a few. If you are not experienced in selling a home, I would not recommend going it alone. You will not save money. Period. Any buyer who would go to you directly will be looking to save the commission and you can't both save the same money. If you're in Manhattan, I would be pleased to refer you to someone. If you're in Queens, Nassau or Suffolk, I would be able to assist you. If you have any questoins, please feel free to contact me.

Fran,
You will have to list your home for sale on the MLS with an agent to have it posted on Trulia.

We are located in the Sarasota/Venice area and would be happy to help you with the sale of your home.

Postlets.com updates every night ot trulia and zillow. Also you should check out forsalebyowner.com, this gives you access to realtor.com.

Trulia.com receives its listings from out side sources. If you are interested in posting your own listing there are several free websites that you could post on. Such as 'forsalebyowner.com; craigslist.com .. http://.www.andreascelisi.com
If you'd like more information on how to post &/or if you are interested in the service that a Real Estate agent can provide to you feel free to contact me. Im sure I can help you to find a real estate agent to work with dependent on your area.

Hello Fran,

If you are interested in posting your home for sale by owner, typically the NY Times is the place to go. If you would like to speak about how much your apartment is worth and what we could do to help you sell the apartment, feel free to contact us.

Hi Fran,
Trulia only allows Realtors, who have official Multiple listing listings to list those homes on Trulia, if you are selling by owner you will not be able to post your property.

If and when you list with a Realtor, then your Realtor can post your property.... but then you will have a listing agreement with a brokerage company and pay commission....

Good Luck

A Realtor :-) Honestly, I believe that Trulia's site is populated from outside Realtor sources and that you a 'for sale by owner" cannot post their listings here. If you would like, we would be more than happy to refer you to a Realtor in NYC - there is not cost to you.
