If you filed a chapter 7 bankuptcy and discharged the debt of your credit cards you also discharged the debt on your mortgage. If you want to keep your home, you would need to contact the mortgage companies loss mitigation department and get the mortgage debt reaffirmed and try to structure a modification of your loan by captializing the $2780.96 on to the principle. Do not try to reafirm debt unless the mortgage company will modify the loan.
The due date of 4/9/09 for the funds I am guessing that the bank has started the foreclosure action and contacting the bank with the options I laid out above are your best options.
If you were move best move prior foreclosure impacting your credit scores, where you move to have approx. 3 years stay rebuild your credit. Many apartments and homeowners will not lease to people who have a foreclosure on their credit report.
