If you filed bankruptcy, depending on the type of bankruptcy the foreclosure should be on hold as long as you make the required payments. This is assuming that you filed a chapter 13 bankrupctcy. If you behind on these payments I would talk about to your bankruptcy attorney quickly to see what they can do to keep the bankrupcty plan.

If you filed a chapter 7 bankuptcy and discharged the debt of your credit cards you also discharged the debt on your mortgage. If you want to keep your home, you would need to contact the mortgage companies loss mitigation department and get the mortgage debt reaffirmed and try to structure a modification of your loan by captializing the $2780.96 on to the principle. Do not try to reafirm debt unless the mortgage company will modify the loan.

The due date of 4/9/09 for the funds I am guessing that the bank has started the foreclosure action and contacting the bank with the options I laid out above are your best options.

Good luck

Is there anyway to still keep your home? How far along are you in the foreclosure process? I might be able to help. Or if you want out, I can help you with that too. No. I do not charge a fee. I don't do loss mitigation for a living, I have much experience with it. I just help when I find the time and someone who needs it. You can email me at

We consult with many across the country off this issue. I dont understand entire question you have. However Tuesday is foreclosure day in USA you need to act as of today or Monday lastest.

If you were move best move prior foreclosure impacting your credit scores, where you move to have approx. 3 years stay rebuild your credit. Many apartments and homeowners will not lease to people who have a foreclosure on their credit report.

Sorry to hear about this.
