Hi Freda,

Sorry, you are not able to post your listing here on Trulia. But as the owner you are able to put it on Zillow for free. You could also put it Craigslist, you can update it there every 2 days.

As you know the market is very interesting now, gone our the days of having a sign in the yard and a few black and white flyers available. A strong qualified marketing program is the key to getting homes sold now. Currently there are over 5000+ homes on the market in Clark County, WA.

Hope this helps,

Hi Freda! It is a great place to get your home listed, but as other have said, a realtor must put your home up on Trulia. I am a fairly active user of trulia, and monitor and update my listings on trulia every 3 days. I send my clients reports of the activity, number of views etc, no only on trulia but on the 20+ sites I syndicate the listings to, I AM IN VANCOUVER. I'd appreciate the opportunity to show you what I do and how I work. you can check me out here at Trulia, and visit my website too

Best Wishes

That is a great question. In order to keep the quality and professionalism of this site high and the accuracy and "freshness" of the listing information, Trulia is limiting this site to real estate agents and their sellers. You should easily be able to find someone in your area that would be willing to market your property on Trulia. Type in your city in the search bar and you will find a banner or block add of a Realtor in your area.
Good luck.

As stated you need a realtor to list on Trulia.
We specialize in the Vancouver area, if needed.
Thank you,

You need to list your home with a Realtor to have it on Trulia.
If you are considering selling your home without professional representation to save the commission, I have a couple of suggestions:
1. Talk with a couple of Realtors and have them analyze your situation. There is no obligation. Ask them to prepare an estimate of seller's closing costs, sometimes referred to as a "net sheet".
2. According to a 2007 survey, the buyer that first sees the home they buy sees it with a Realtor 90% of the time. when you buy your next home, you plan on using a Realtor, right? Because we work "for free". Don't you think that most other people do the same thing? Sure, about 95% do. So when you sell without professional representation, you are effectively excluding 95% of the buyers.
3. Owners that well directly have a couple of traits:
-86% list with a Realtor
-5% sell to someone that they know
-5% sell to someone they don't know.
4. If you are planning to pay the buyer's side of the commission (meaning you plan on asking the Realtor to do two jobs for the compensation of one job), I think when you do the math you will find that professional representation will actually net you more money at the end of the transaction.

I answer many inquiries from sellers who are selling on their own, and unfortunately in most cases I really am unable to help them via Trulia. They need someone that knows their market, their home, and their situation.

Good luck.

If you are working with a licensed agent, you may ask him or her to post your listing here on Trulia. But as a Fros Sale by Owner, Trulia does not post those homes. I will gladly refer you to a website that allows you to create a FREE virtual flyer whcih is then syndicated to all appropriate website for FSBOs and also allows you with easy-step instructions to post your listing on Craig's List with an HTML sode (I know it sounds techy, but it's VERY easy). Here it is http://www.postlets.com

Advertising your home in today's market allows you so many wonderful avenues and as an agent I find the features of Trulia fantastic for creating maxiumum exposure of my clients homes to literally thousands of potential buyers.

Best of luck to you!
