Yes you can. Excellant properties in areas 42, 43 and 52. Thes are close to downtown and in some of Sarasota's excellent school districts. It's a great time to buy as you may find short sales and or foreclosures. Prices are extremely attractive and seem to be bouncing along the bottom of what we think to be our lows. Please review either our web site or Sarasota Schools site.

There are some wonderful homes on market right now. If you are looking for a great, safe area near downtown you want to consider Paver Park, Terrace Gardens, and Ringling Park. These neighborhoods have some of the best built homes in the area. It is located near parks, the beach, major east-west, north-south roads and a short bike ride to downtown and the bayfront. best wishes!

Hi Brent-

Yes you can. One area that no one has mentioned is Gulf Gate. Other than the fact that it is home to Gulf Gate elementary school, the Gulf Gate area is one the best kept secrets in Sarasota County. Quiet streets and friendly neighbors are plentiful, and the shcool districts are 2nd to none. You go to my website to download the actual school district maps and search for listings in the Gulf Gate area.

Hi Brent,
There are some wonderful homes available right now. In fact I saw a great foreclosure home for 179,900 this week. You can search the entire MLS on my website and search the latest foreclosure listings too. http://www.yourfloridahomesold.com

The answer is yes, yes, and yes. Unheard of a couple years back, but there are many homes that will fit into your needs. Sellers have been forced to take less as the inventory has risen dramatically. We have in Sarasota county roughly a 15 month supply of inventory on hand. This won't last forever as we are seeing the market starting to stabilize. Rates are still low and buyers are realizing its "time to Buy" .

Sarasota county has a great school system. Included are a number of charter schools that have been given very high marks as well as private and parochial schools.

Visit my website and click on the Sarasota Schools link for complete info on area schools.

You would probably be looking in the North Port area for prices around 200K, which is in Sarasota county. You would get much more for your money in North Port than in Sarasota. You could get a brand new home with 2000 sq ft + for that price and possibly a pool.

There are many nice schools in North Port but I send my children up to Pine View School for the Gifted in Osprey. It was ranked the number six school in the Nation by US News. We absolutely love it!

Here's a link on my website that tells about the school: http://www.tropicalfloridaproperty.com/default.asp_Q_f_E_cpg…

I would be happy to be of assistance if you are looking in this area.
