Offer on home in Overbrook Park?

Asked by Aevans, West Chester, PA Sat Apr 18, 2009

Follow-up to previous question. Home for sale for 175,000 - I put in two offers both were rejected - One was for 160,000 with 6% seller assist the other was 165,000 with 6% seller assist. What should I do, should I walk away from the home. The most a house has went for in the last 6 months is 167,000 with a 7,000 seller assist. The house was really well kept, but I have concerns about buying at the top of the price range for that area.

Hi Aevans,

Are you working with a Realtor? Part of why it's best to work with a Realtor representing you is the skill and experience in negotiating deals. If you would like to give me a cal, feel free to call me on my cell: 215-990-0186. I have an idea for what I would say and offer.
