Help the community by answering this question:

Hello Kristi,

The homes in Temecula are very affordable!

To answer your question of what area is best to live in you first have to answer: What are your families needs—that is, do you want a large yard, do you want an HOA community, do you want a community with resort style living, do you want miles of walking trails, do you want to live on a golf course, do you want a view? There are a lot of very lovely communities in Temecula and all seem to offer something different. Assessing your desires and needs would be the first place to start

To answer your second question; what area is most sought after is a little trickier. I don’t believe there is just “one” sought after community. If you want a golf course community Temeku Hills and Redhawk will be the areas highly sought after. Morgan Hill offers Resort Style living, where Paloma Del Sol offers miles and miles of walking trails and a lot of community play lots. All of these areas are very attractive and sought after—it just depends on the “type” of buyer and their needs.

I would suggest pin-pointing your needs and then ask a real estate professional to give you a tour of the various neighborhoods with all their amenities before looking at homes for sale, this will help you narrow down what you desire. I am sorry there is no simple answer to this question but come-up and visit our fantastic town and you will see what I mean.

Good luck with your home search!

I love Wolf Creek. Schools, shopping, parks, great homes. Wonderful neighborhoods, great pool and kids pool, super gym. Many areas of Temecula are wonderful but wow this is really great. This is where I live.

If you want a really large family home this is the area. Lots of 4 and 5 bedroom homes. Homes that sold for over 800,000 are down to under 400,000. Wow. Almost all homes are new or newer.

Temecula life is a wonderful life for all ages. Follow my blog on Truila Temcuallife to see why I am happy in Temecula.

Wow! What an open-ended question. There are so many questions that I need to ask. Do you need easy access to anything in particular? Do you have children that need to go to a specific school? Do you need to commute to a job? Do you want to pay association fees? What property tax are you looking at (they range from 1.2 to 1.9 depending on the tract)?

The best area to live in is the one you can afford and that meets your needs. We recommend that our buyer clients visit shopping centers in the neighborhoods as one way to see if the community feels right for them. There are currently over 100 homes for sale in the Temcula Murrieta area for under $100 per square foot. You can learn more about them at http://AffordableTemecula.com

You have plenty to choose from in the Temecula area in the 400k range. Redhwk is one of the more secure areas yet, there are many others to consider in the area. The best way to make a decision is to visit communities and make the decision based on your personal feel.
