Via your inquiry, it appears that you may be victim of the late night TV "get it for less" scenario and the infancy of internet portals. Keep in mind that NJ is NOT one of those states that have been tremendously impacted by the changes in the economy and to acquire a property for $23K, in my view, is NOT going to happen . . . unless, of course, it is in a distressed neighborhood that will most likely never see increased equity (i.e., West side of Asbury Park).
