Traditionally the peak selling time for this area is Memorial Day through Thanksgiving. We usually write about half our contracts in August, September and October.
Having said that, over the past few years we have seen the market pick up during what has usually been the "off" season. I've had some very good Januarys.
The best bet is to list your house now. The number of Buyers who are looking really picks up in June and July, and by August they have had time to check out the market and to come back a second time if necessary...and they are ready to put in a contract. Good luck!

The good news is we are in our "peak" season for Hendersonville. Your showing activity should be picking up. You have a beautiful home and you chose a wonderful community.
According to the latest homes sold report homes priced from $300K to $399999K are on the market an average of 156 days. As of today 28 homes have sold in the price range since January.
You have 5 homes competing for a buyer in your community and your price is atractive in comparison. It was a wise decision to reduce your homes asking price by $10K. You have so many desirable features that I see your home selling this season. If you have any concerns talk to John (your agent) and perhaps he could offer some suggestions to attract more buyers to your door step.

I helped someone not long ago with a home in Hendersonville and spoke with a few agents and I know the Hendersonville market is a bit sluggish right now. In comparison the Asheville market is a bit better so if you are in Flat Rock it depends on you individual area. We have several agents on here from the Asheville area and they can probably get you a better approximate time. Of course selling your home will depend on your home itself and how it looks and is priced.
