Stay away from Pritchard. Most of the apartment complexes will be in West Mobile (west of I-65). There are older smaller ones in the Midtown, downtown area. You need someone who knows the midtown/downtown area real well to consider buying in that area.

We own a number of investment properties in the area. Feel free to contact me with questions. Thanks.

I would suggest 36695. Staying South of Airport Blvd, and West of Hillcrest. Hope that helps!

Remember that zip codes can cover a large area and what may occur on one end of that zip code could be something completley different to what is happening the other end. In my market, we have luxury homes priced upwards of $400k in the same zip code as tiny homes selling for under $100k; they are just either end of that zip code. You would be better served using other search criterias. Sometimes the city or locla council will have a website where you can search for such statistics. Good luck!

For public info, it's sure tough to locate.
I did not find the police dept. to be very knowledgeable about where or how to attain this info. After a round-about of phone calls, for more than 2 weeks, I got nowhere. Perhaps you'll have better luck than me?
You might want to try contacting the local paper -Mobile Press Register- and local TV stations, since they report on crime data.
Also, you could try searching online with keyword "neighborhood statistic crime data". Though typically you'll end up having to pay for the results.
I gave up after more than a month in searching out this info. The closest I got to 'free' info was at these sites;…
In the end, I relied on word-of-mouth, and just driving around the areas at various times of day & month and judged for myself.
