You want to move to Williams Twsp. I currently live there and am trying my hardest to stay there for just this reason. Its south of Easton proper across rt 78. Its a mountain, there is very little to no light pollution, some unique geography and winds from the Delaware River keep the sky very clear at most times. I've included a link that should cover most of the area. Come visit, you'll stay...

Hi WIlliam:
Well there are alot of areas in the area that would fit the bill for you. As a matter of fact, there is a great astronomy club in the area that you would enjoy. They have their own observatory, and monthly events.
http://www.lvaas.net/ this is their web site. WHy not give me a call. I would be happy to help you find a home. DOn Bradbury http://www.bradburyteam.com 215-536-6777 x 329

When getting a loan, look at the USDA Rural Development loans. They offer 100% financing and allow you to roll in closing costs!

One of the best loan programs out there!

our home is rural and on top of a hill, you can check out pictures on http://www.zillow.com or http://www.prudentialpattwhite.com , just put it on the market a few days ago.
The address is 52 Adams Road, Breinigsville, PA.
Its just outside of Allentown with 1.24 acres and views of Clover Hill Winery and Finks (they sell mums and corn, all you see are pumpkins in the fall. We dont want to move but we have been relocated to Hershey.

I have family in the Allentown area. An interesting fact about Allentown is that there is only 1 building that could be considered a high rise in the whole city. There are no skyscrapers. You could get a clear vew of the sky from most parts of the city. You may want to stay rural, but I thought I would throw this factoid in. And by the way, be sure to visit Yocco's for a great hotdog!

I am a mortgage lender that handles the Allentown, PA area. I would love to help you with the financing of your new purchase. I can have an approval ready for you in minutes. Please feel to contact me with any questions you may have. Remember, it is always a good idea to get a second opinion on your financing options.

As you go West from Allentown there is Blue Mountain, which is actually a range that stretches for miles. Hawk mountain is in the Blue Mountain range as well. It depends how far you would like to commute to work. It sounds like you would want something farther away from the lights of bigger cities. I would say that west ir northwest are the directions you should be heading.
If there is any way I can help, feel free to contact me.
Good Luck!
Michael

It would depend if you wanted to be in Allentown or live in one of the surrounding areas. Emmaus and salisbury have a mountain that has a great view of the city. Both of these areas are really nice. You can also check Center Valley or Orefield area, some of the homes there have amazing views. Call me if you need assistance. See my website at pattwhite.com
