If you can show the property without furniture and personal items that would be to your advantage.

Alberto,

Buyers and renters have an easier time getting a true feel for the property without furniture in it because it is easier for them to visually place their personal belongings when the space is empty.

Jeffery below is correct, but also keep in mind that for some the furniture and personal items can be distracting. When I show some clients homes, they wonder what is hidden behind or under the furniture. Others, can't picture themselves living in a room because the decor is not to their liking. My point is while you are living there stage it nicely, but don't fret if you need to take your furniture with you once you move.

A home always looks larger and more attractive when photographed nicely furnished and clean. If empty it does not reflect a living space, but rather just a space. This also gives a prospective tenant something to judge size by.
