I can't seem to brand my listings since you are picking them up from my broker.

Has the broker feed undone the ability to brand my listings on Trulia? If so, this is very disappointing - I've tried and am not seeing my contact/profile info picked up. I am a regular user of Trulia and have been for some time and consider the changes that have come with the broker feed replacing my own listing input frustrating, disappointing, and it is lessening the positive impact of Trulia on my business. At this point, there is no reference to me or my website on my Trulia listings. What a huge bummer.

Hi Jeanne,

Your assumption is correct. Weichert has chosen to brand all the listings they provide to us and this will prevent you from adding your contact information to those listings. However it looks like some of your listings are not submitted to us by their franchise. You submitted the listing shown at the link below to us and it does display your contact information at the bottom of the page. If you can get Weichert to remove your other listings from the feed they send to us, you should be able to submit those to us in the same manner and brand them.

Signing up for Trulia Pro would also give you control over your listings and would prominently feature your photo and contact information at the top of each listing page.

As a former Weichert agent, my experience was they take priority over the individual agent unless u subscribe to that portal (be it Trulia or others). I do highly recommend subscribing to these portals (i.e., the annual contract as as Trulia Pro) so that u may capture the leads yourself. My investment in internet portals have paid for itself 10 fold!

Larry, worry not, you won't lose me on Trulia, but I'm disappointed by the situation. Have a call into my broker to see what I learn on this end. I double checked my profile and it reflects only my website, but I still seem to have no luck branding.

Make sure you have your site in the url's of your profile. Do not use Broker's.. at all!

Should change it and direct it to your site.

I know your pain here.
I am with same broker... That is why I will not use there web site contractor I use my own. It reverts the client to Weichert's site and the lead captures are lead network all over the pages. Unless you have a client that knows the navigations, but still who they gonna call ???, the 800 number lead network...!

Big argument with me thus far and no changes anytime soon.

We work hard and spend lots of money to brand ourselves and get it all taken away thru processes like this.and someone else gets the lead... They pay the split plus the referral fees...
don;t you think they should hand those leads out to the staff as part of the service we provide them as well?

I know the broker owns the lead but really why bother if they are taking it away with their advertising without any branding of ourselves who are working hard to get the listings.

You can get them back just need to be persistant.

I'm looking for Trulia to weigh in here - I've just run a test on the "contact agent" function on my listings on Trulia and on Zillow. The Zillow email came to me, the Trulia email did not.

So I have lost my direct communication link to interested buyers with my Trulia listings - not a good thing as far as I am concerned. This tilts the scale in favor of Zillow - please Trulia let me hear from you, I am helping you build your site through my active pariticipation in the Q&A - this is a real setback in service.

Larry, looks like the claiming is by my broker, I just did a search and they don't appear to be claimed and my branding is not reflected. This is a big negative in my opinion.

Hi Larry, thanks for your response. Oddly, the listings are showing up under my listings - when I search, it gives me the box to check "brand it" but my info doesn't appear. Does this jive with your experience? If so, how did you resolve.

That's what it sounds like to me. Had a similar situation... The person claimed a listing that was not theirs...
