High income neighborhood does not really produce good pupils. You need to personally observe the teaching methods, students behavior and draw your own conclusion why schools need improvement. Teachers there have their opinion why. The well being of children academic achievement lies with parenting involvement not necessarily from income .

A public school scored the lowest in SC County (api:550) changed to around API > 900 after
the school had parents volunteer for school duties so teachers can focus on teaching. That occurred over within a few years with essentially same demographics. Furthermore, many parents there pioneered the computer technology with creme of crop of scientists. They were some of the best paid and most acclaimed workers in the Valley.

Hi Rahul,

In Santa Clara County, school districts do have a great deal of influence on the resale value of a home. Good for you for doing your homework. I am providing you with a link which provides the API scores for the various Santa Clara County school districts.

Hi Rahul,

I can not speculate on the test scores. I can tell you that Don Callejon is a K-8 school. Comparing that school to just k-5 schools would be inaccurate.

The K-5 portion of the school receives its enrollment from Rivermark. The 6-8 portion is feed by the surrounding areas which some are low income.

Other than that I have heard very positive things from that school from clients who own in Rivermark and have children enrolled.
