Communications High School at Wall Township is part of the Monmouth County Vocational School District.

Communications High School is one of the five career academies administered by The Monmouth County Vocational School District. This school provides a college preparatory program with an emphasis on communications in the areas of Digital Media, Publishing, Digital Printing, Journalism, Commercial Art and TV/Radio Broadcasting.

All students are required to enroll in 40 credits of course work per year and successfully complete 160 credits for graduation. All college preparatory courses and theme related courses are offered at an honors level. The school serves the community by providing exemplary learning experiences for students in those areas and related fields.

The Monmouth County Vocational School District is responsible for recruitment, admissions, and the instructional program. There are 29,000 high school students enrolled in Monmouth County Public Schools.
Communications High School is a competitive specialized school that selects 80 students for its 9th grade
each year throughout the 26 public and 10 private schools of the county.

The program is free. Students must apply for admission. Acceptances are based on grades, application and entrance exam results.

Acceptance/Declines for the upcoming 2009 - 2010 school year should be mailed out in March.
